SOP: Standard Operating Procedure
Garments Sewing Department:
Product analysis: In which way, a product have to sew, it’s
decided here.
Set up target for production: Have to set a target for production on the basis of shipping schedule.
Set up machine layout on the basis of target: Have to prepare machine setup layout on the basis of daily target quantity.
Set up operator layout on the basis of target: Prepare operator layout setup on the basis of machine quantity.
QC check of product: Each garment must have to fulfill its right quality. So, product checking must be needed by QC.
Line balancing: Line balancing is a tool used for production line to capacitate the flow line of production.
Line setup: Line setup must be needed to achieve healthy production.
Distribution all the processes: All the processes of sewing must be distributed to the right person to avoid the damage of garments.
Cutting parts received section: A section, which received the cutting parts from the cutting department.
Cutting parts distribution to the operator and helper: All the cutting parts should be distributed to the operator and helper after receiving those from cutting department
Complete parts making individually: By joining all the parts, a complete garment has to make here individually.
Inline QC check: During running of garments sewing, Inline QC check must be needed to make fault free garments.
line quality audit: Comparing with target quantity, all the output garments should be counted here to make sure
achieving the target quantity.
Counting output and checking with the target: In this section, all the output garments are checked finally by maintaining one by one method to provide fault free garments into the finishing department.
Final quality check (for each Garment): In Our Factory have this item in output.

Report
Garments Finishing:
Sewn garments received in
finishing section: Here, sewn garments are received for finishing the garments.
Initial quality check: Sewn garments are checked here by the quality controller. If found major sewing problems then garments sent again to the sewing section for rectification.
Spot removing if there’s any spot: Sometimes garments contain various types of spots which are removed here carefully.
Ironing or pressing: It’s one of the important processes in garments finishing. Here garments are ironed by following measurement chart of that garments
Inspection: After completing ironing or finishing, garments are inspected again here by quality controller to confirm the correct measurement of the garments.
Hang tag attaching: In this section, hang tag have to attach with the garments.
Folding: After completing all the above processes, garments are folded here.
Poly bag: Garments are poly bagged here to keep the garments dust, dirt and other impurities free. send the garments safely in to the buyer.
Metal check: In this section, garments should be passed through a metal detector machine to identify metal lies in the garments.
Packaging or cartoning: Finally all the garments should pack to send the garments safely in to the buyer.

Pattern received from pattern department: At first you have to
received different sizes pattern for each style garments from the pattern
department.
Cutting ratio received from merchandiser: Cutting ratio for each style garments should be received from merchandiser
Marker making: To complete cutting process in easy way, you have to make marker for each style garments.
Fabric received from the store: At the mean time, you have to received fabrics from the store for each style of garments.
Fabric Checking: Here, fabrics have to checked and confirm the shade variation free fabrics in cutting table.
Fabric Spreading: When the above process is completed, then you have to spread the fabric with correct lay height and ply tension.
Marker placing on to the lay: After that, marker have to placed on the top layer of the lay
Cutting the fabric: Here, fabrics have to cut by maintaining marker.
Numbering: After cutting the fabrics, each parts of different style fabrics should be numbered to avoid mixing with the others style fabric parts.
